THE Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will to investigation the Financial, Transaction, Reporting and Analysis Center (PPATK) report that had identified 400 travel cheques distributed to members of House Commission IX overseeing financial affairs in the period of 1999 to 2004.

PPATK's report can be reference for KPK to reveale predicted about traveler cheque had flowed to several members of the House Representative.

PPATK's report predicted is conected with election of senior deputy Bank Indonesia governor Miranda at 8 June 2004.

Why, he don't report whe he got money," said Antasari at the House Representative, Jakarta, several last day.

But, Antasari stressed, 400 traveler's checks had founded by PPATK can't be fact to decicion if that checks has flowed to several member The House of Representative. Antasari said, he know PPATK report comprehensif not yet. Antasari refused to said 400 treveler's checks by Miranda.

"I know from you. If Yunus (The Head of PPATK, red) explained (Miranda). He can get prosecute. He can say about numeral. But, he can't said person's name," Antasari said.

To investigation about PPATK's report, Antasari said, KPK must be carefully. Antasari will not, using assumption be reference to action.

He describe, PPATK’s report like egg. If we want to eat, we must cook and stir egg before, and clean egg’s skin. It same with to handle this report,” he said.

The Head of PPATK Yunus Husein has announced, PPATK has founded more than 400 travel cheques was published when election of senior deputy Bank Indonesia governor Miranda at 8 June 2004. The Honorary Council's (BK) deputy chairman Gayus Lumbun said, BK will to coordination with KPK and PPATK if that report was investigation with first fact, like PPATK and KPK reported.

Commission III member of the Indonesian Democratic Party for Struggle (PDI-P) also said, BK just responsibly to handle several parliament members who still as members Indonesia parliament.

“BK is not responsible with ex parliament members,” he said.

After KPK began investigation, used first fact to deep information from politician as still parliament members, BK will to follow coordination to expose this case," said Gayus. Gayus assess, BK can’t to action if fact just mention by PPATK’s report.

Gayus said, if PPATK’s report if money from Indonesia Bank has distributed to several parliament members, that can broke the house representative credibility. But, if that report can’t evidence, that must restoration credibility parliament.

Meanwhile, The Vice of Commission III, from the the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Suripto urged KPK not discriminative to fight corruptor. "KPK must investigation PPATK’s report. If that report has involved as gratifikasi or " money given to state institutions and a transitional clause. It must to investigation," he said.

KPK and PPATK beforehand, investigation about traveler cheque has got Agus Condro Prayitno, former politician from PDIP.

KPK will to modus and resource check so can showed a bribery case. Agus Condro has been suspect as gratifikasi receiver because he got more than Rp10 millions.

According to Antasari, in this case, Agus is not as witness to must get protect. But, he also involved corruption case. "He (Agus, red) involved, so he can get protection. Moreever, he has published by television,” he said (Jurnal Nasional, 11 September, 2008).

Antasari also disagree, Agus must get compensation from punishment. “Not think, moreover, has been four years ago,” he said. If Agus want to make easier to expose about this case, why he didn’t report since four years ago.

Antasari said, to investigation Agus’s case is difficult, and needed long time because happened four years ago.

Antasari refused, Agus’s report has been intervention with PDIP that has supported him became as KPK’s chairman.

"Commission III is not only PDIP. Don’t make condition with politic situation now,” he said. Agus’s report will handle a professional, and proportional followed KPK’s procedure.

Agus Condro said, if he not worry if became as KPK suspect and be first KPK target cause he reported has got Rp500 millions after election of senior deputy Bank Indonesia governor Miranda at 8 June 2004.

Agus claimed, that became as her responsible as public official. "It’s not problem if my report can more expose this case until finish.

He hope her friends in PDIP also admitting if has been received money from Miranda. "I am not disapointed with my friends, althought they still be prenteder to public,”

The Director of Centre Againt of Corruption Study (PuKAT Korupsi) Law Faculty University of Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta Zaenal Arifin Mochtar said, Agus Condro must protected with PDIP to fight in corruption politic party.

"Agus Condro’s virus must infected to other the House of Representative members, so the corruption can be minimize,” said Zainal when called by Jurnal Nasional yesterday (8/9).

PDIP’s sanction was fired Agus Condro, said Zainal, showed if politic party who leader by Megawati Soekarno Putri has used sharp knife to beneath than to upper. That means, Agus Condro who has reporterd about corruption got fired, meanwhole the others elits who involved, proctected by PDIP.

Zaenal worry, Agus not only be elits PDIP target. But, Agus also be pressured with others politic party who involved in BI’s case.

Adnan Topan Husodo from The Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) KPK should investigate the source of the 400 traveler's checks given to House of Representatives members. He hope, KPK should uncover the sponsor behind the money.

Agus Condro has admitted he and several fellow legislators from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle received traveler's checks worth Rp 500 million each after the election of Miranda. “Beside that, KPK must more passed selain itu, KPK harus give protect to Agus as soon as possible from pressured others.”
